Kali Final Renders

About Me & Project Kali

As a 3D artist and storyteller, I’ve always been drawn to powerful archetypes that challenge norms, provoke thought, and feel unapologetically raw. Project Kali is a personal reflection of that spirit — born from my cultural roots in Kerala, where Indian, Arab, and Moroccan influences collide in food, art, and language. This melting pot became the foundation for creating Kali, a battle-hardened gladiator forged in the furnace of a post-apocalyptic steampunk world.

Inspired by the Hindu goddess Kali — the fierce embodiment of time, death, and rebirth — my version of Kali is reimagined as a lone warrior who walks through fire and chaos with divine fury. Her design is a fusion of myth and machinery: flowing fabric echoing the grace of temple dancers, contrasted with worn-out brass armor, turbine engines, and rusted clockwork limbs. Arabic calligraphy weaves through her weapons, and her face markings draw from Moroccan Berber symbolism — honoring the shared resistance and beauty in all these traditions.

I wanted Kali to represent more than destruction — she symbolizes what survives after the fall. A guardian of forgotten worlds. A weapon shaped by both devotion and trauma.

As an artist, this project let me explore hybrid identity, ancestral memory, and strength through decay. Working in Blender and Unreal Engine, I focused on storytelling through texture — skin like ash, metal like bone, shadows like prayer. This is not just a character; it’s an echo of where I come from and where I want to go.

With Project Kali, I aim to blend myth with madness — to create not just a visual, but a visceral experience that feels both ancient and futuristic.

I am currently located in the UK and actively looking for new opportunities and positions
